Discover the rich history of Gorée Island and uncover the vibrant soul of Dakar on this unforgettable full-day excursion. Step back in time as you wander the cobblestone streets of Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as a powerful reminder of the transatlantic slave trade. Visit the famous House of Slaves, explore historical landmarks, and take in sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean from the island's high points. After Goree Island, head to Lac-Rose. For groups of 4 persons or more, we organize a 4x4 ride on the sand dunes at the beach to experience the Paris-Dakar rally, visit the salt industry, and have lunch on site. Return to the hotel around 5:30 p.m.
